-Story begins with how the world started as a waste of water called Nu, who was the Great Father.

-He eventually made a sun god named Khepera at dawn, Ra at high noon, and Tum at eventide.

-The text is a bit confusing to understand, I can't tell who they are talking about when "he" is mentioned.

-Lot of gods in Egyptian myths and stories including; Shu the wind god, who become known as "The Twins" with "The Spitter." Seb is the earth god, and Nut is the goddess of the firmament who became parents of Osiris and his consort Isis and also of Set and his consort Nepthys.

-Ra becomes the first king upon earth as the Creator and the ruler of the gods.

-As Ra ruled over men, naturally there were some that said he was aged and that his bones are silver and his flesh is turning to gold.

-When Ra found out men were saying evil words about him, he felt great anger as there were rebellious me who were trying to slay him.

-Ra gathered the other gods and goddesses and the faithful men that followed him because he was born through the darkness and slayed all and any enemies of Ra in battle.

-Another god that is featured heavily in this story is Osiris.

-Like Greek mythology, Egyptian follows the idea of having multiple gods, and having one powerful god govern the rest with a chance to dethrone that specific god.

-Osiris was a god that was born through the voice in the heavens, 'here comes the lord of all things.'

-When the sun god Ra grew old and ascended into heaven, Osiris is who became the ruler over all the land of Egypt.

-Osiris is the ruler that brought law and order to the land of Egypt as when he first became the ruler, men were nothing but savages with no rules.

-Isis, the wife of Osiris, gave birth to her son Horus, but Set imprisoned them both in the house and planned to kill Horus as he may become the next ruler behind Osiris.

-Isis has an entire journey of her own through the land of Egypt where she concealed the body of the dead king in a secret hideout and tried to protect her son, Horus.

-However, the dick of a god, Set, found the body and tore it to twelve pieces and fed it to the crocodiles of the Nile river. Isis then recovered all the fragments and buried them where she found them, and temples were risen and gave places for people to continue to worship Osiris.

-Another sort of stabbed-in-the-back and power-hungry stories between powerful god beings. I enjoy these stories as the more unrealistic a story is, the better it is for me.
